Location: Menahga, Minnesota
Compensation: $30+/hour (salaried position)
Training: Free CDL training provided
Schedule: School-year calendar; additional summer hours may be available

About the Opportunity

Menahga Public Schools is seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals to join our transportation team as Bus Drivers . Whether you’re an experienced driver or new to the profession, we’ll provide paid training and full support to help you earn your CDL license and confidently transport students each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and extracurricular activities

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus

• Maintain student discipline and ensure a safe, respectful atmosphere on the bus

• Follow established routes and schedules with punctuality and professionalism

• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and the transportation coordinator

• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid MN driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam

• Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism

Preferred (but not required):

• CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements (training provided if not yet certified)

• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or working with children
