We’re Hiring: MRI Technologist (Direct Hire | Part-Time | Days)
An established healthcare organization is seeking a Direct Hire MRI Technologist to join an outpatient imaging team. This is a part-time, day-shift opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term stability.
Position Details
- Role: MRI Technologist
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Schedule: Day shift, variable days (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and selected special MRI procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment
- Assist radiologists as needed
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards
- Provide high-quality patient care and customer service
- Participate in quality assurance and continuing education
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
- ARRT certification required (ARMRIT accepted with ARRT MR certification within 1 year of hire)
- New York State license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required or within 90 days of hire
- MRI Safety Certification Level 2 (required annually)
- IV certification preferred (or within 6 months of orientation)
- Must meet continuing education requirements (24 ECE credits every 2 years)
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
