  • Pay Rate : $90-94/Hr.

Schedule Notes: 10 PM - 8 AM and 3:30 PM - 11:30

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Preparation & Dispensing
  • Accurately and efficiently prepares, labels, and dispenses medications in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Resolves questions related to formulary and non-formulary medications, ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines.
  • Clinical Support & Therapeutic Recommendations
  • Provides evidence-based dosing and therapeutic recommendations, considering patient age, renal/hepatic function, and pharmacokinetic principles.
  • Monitors patient drug therapy for effectiveness, safety, potential interactions, and appropriateness of continued treatment.
  • Patient & Staff Education
  • Educates patients on medication use, including dosing, schedule adherence, side effects, storage, and interactions with other drugs or supplements.
  • Offers pharmacological information and consultation to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

Skills & Competencies

  • Accurate and timely dispensing of medications
  • Strong knowledge of formulary management
  • Ability to interpret and apply pharmacokinetic and age-based dosing principles
  • Effective patient and staff communication and education
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills

Education & Experience

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
  • 1–2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
