Role: Concrete Estimator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $100K–$110K + Benefits

We are a well-established concrete contractor specializing in light commercial construction throughout the Charlotte region. Known for our commitment to quality, reliability, and precision, we take pride in delivering results that consistently surpass client expectations.

We’re looking for a meticulous and motivated Estimator to join our expanding team. In this position, you’ll develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for light commercial concrete projects, collaborating closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure every proposal is complete, competitive, and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and client documentation
• Prepare comprehensive estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Identify project risks and potential cost efficiencies
• Support proposal and bid preparation efforts
• Maintain and refine a database of historical pricing and estimating benchmarks

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in commercial construction estimating (concrete background preferred)
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills
• Proficient in estimating and project management software
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities
