Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the Process Safety Management (PSM) program, including PHAs, MOC reviews, audits, and implementation of PSM elements.
- Conduct daily inspections, safety observations, and assessments to ensure compliance with internal EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety, health, environmental, sustainability, and security programs.
- Deliver EHS training to employees and teams to build awareness and engagement.
- Help integrate EHS practices into operational processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain and analyze EHS KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and risks.
- Assist in preparing and submitting environmental and safety permits and regulatory reports.
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills, response planning, and incident support.
- Assist with internal audits, SOP updates, corrective action tracking, and compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Support regulatory programs such as SARA, EPCRA, HAZCOM, and industrial hygiene monitoring.
- Document incidents, support root cause analysis, and track corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and workplace inspections.
- Provide support with site security or contractor coordination when required.
- Perform additional duties that support the EHS program and site compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational safety, process safety, or environmental compliance within an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience with audits, risk assessments, and management systems.
- ISO 14001/45001 knowledge or auditor training (preferred).
