Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Temple University Hospital
Philadelphia, PA

Pay: $65 to $70 per hour
Schedule: Days 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 per week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: 12/08/2025
End: 03/09/2026

Summary
You support the full endoscopy workflow. You guide patients through pre procedure intake, intra procedure monitoring, and post procedure recovery. You work with physicians, support staff, and the care team to deliver safe and consistent care. You direct support staff and follow departmental standards.

Core responsibilities
Pre procedure
• Complete patient workup
• Insert IVs
• Monitor and assess
• Provide clear handoffs

Intra procedure
• Monitor vitals
• Watch for complications
• Follow universal protocol
• Document and manage specimens
• Provide accurate handoffs

Post procedure
• Monitor vitals
• Perform recovery assessments
• Provide ongoing monitoring
• Complete handoffs

Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• One year endoscopy or acute care experience preferred
• Active PA RN license
• BLS through AHA
• COVID vaccination and booster

• BLS certificate
• Degree copy or unofficial transcript

• Skills checklist from the last 12 months
