Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AI Data Engineer to join our client’s on-site data engineering and analytics team in Spring, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, AI/ML integration, and business intelligence development using Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines to support AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Work closely with data modelers to structure datasets for model training and inference.
• Transform and test data models using DBT and automate EL processes via Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Integrate AI-powered analytics and predictive insights into Power BI dashboards.
• Develop DAX measures and semantic models for advanced business intelligence reporting.
• Leverage Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, or custom ML models to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and model monitoring across all layers.

Required Skills

• Core Tools: SQL, DBT, ADF, DAX, Power BI, Snowflake
• AI/ML Integration: Experience embedding ML models within data pipelines or BI systems
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of normalization, denormalization, star/snowflake schema design
• Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure (data storage, orchestration, and AI services)
• Programming: SQL, DAX (Python or R a plus)
• Visualization: Power BI development and performance tuning
• Preferred Certifications
• Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Microsoft DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• SnowPro® Core / Advanced (Data Analyst or Data Engineer)
